Trixi is a 15hh whiteborn Knabstrupper mare and is graded with the ZfdP. In her pedigree, Trixi has some very old German Knabstrupper bloodlines.
Trixi has three very good paces, a naturally active walk with good overtrack, a very rhythmical trot which has good ground cover and elasticity and a big canter with an expressive front leg. As well as her paces, Trixi demonstrates the exceptionally kind and trainable temperament for which this breed is famous.
Trixi was imported into the UK in 2007 from the Vom Nordstern stud where she had been used as a broodmare. With her fantastic paces and temperament we wanted to give Trixi a chance to prove herself before being put in foal. She has been quick to progress in her training, demonstrating a fantastic trainable attitude under saddle and is willing and co-operative with whoever rides her. Trixi has attended dressage shows and always earns good marks and praise from the judges for her performances. Trixi has been put in foal to Stavsdals Jackpot for a 2009 foal.
